Lets Run Turkey

Aren’t you tired of sitting on that saddle? Have you been thinking that a little cross training would be a good thing? Well now is your time to try something different. Thursday is the Turkey Trot down at Southwood. There are several options to choose from (5, 10 or 15k). I’m going to lace up my running shoes and give the 5k a try. Come on out and join me. This is how I will justify eating that second piece of pecan pie.

I'll prolly see y'all out there. Judging from tonights run, maybe I should just spectate. I hope I can walk tomorrow.

I am considering attending and possibly running in this event. As the great Prefontaine once said...."If it comes down to guts, NO ONE ELSE CAN WIN!" Now, has anyone seen my skirt?

Random musings from Soddom on Gomorrah (DC that is)

If anyone is interested this evening, thinking about doing the FAM TPII, PX90, slam dunk go blind pt session, followed by Yuengling slinging. Anytakers? If not, maybe after the run? I mean the run is only a 20 minute evolution (5k), so we should all have plenty of time afterwards prior to gorging. In addition, world championship disc golf apres gorging anyone? In other words, I only come to T-town once in a blue moon, I want to take advantage of it, see everyone even if the professionals have a race this weekend. It's about 11:30am, just had my first glass of wine so excuse the following. Get out of the dark Stevo, I still got cousins on my mothers side for you to diddle!

Keith, I'm your huckelberry. Even though I will be racing professionally this weekend, I can partake in some brutality. So, 50 push-ups immediately following the run; what else?

Just 50? Well that takes all of 30 seconds, so let's do 50 mountain climbers, 50 crunches, 50 flutter kicks, 10 burpess, 20 supermans, plank for 2 minutes, well I could go on, but that pretty much get's us up to like 5 minutes. What else would you like?
